For are most recent photo assignment I decided to shoot nature/ landscape. I went to millpond park, and took a lot of cool photos of the river, snow and animals that were there. I found it difficult to try to create a natural looking color, and not create a blue tint. By best photo is a picture of a bridge, and the river that was partially frozen.
For this assignment we had to take a picture, previously taken by a different student, and edit it on the program Gimp. We had to learn how to crop the photo, hoe to use levels and how to use the clone tool. I learned many different tool and tricks that will help me later to edit my photos that I take. This was very fun and to and also challenging!
For this assignment I shoot pictures of my two cats, as an animal assignment. My best picture I took a close up of my cat, from a different perspective. I am shooting from below him. I tried to show the texture of his fur and whiskers by using the macro setting.
In this assignment we had to take pictures using elements of composition. The elements of composition we used included, lines, depth of field, pattern, symmetry, texture, rule of thirds, color,balance space, perspective, and framing.

Texture is shown by the Christmas decoration
Rule of Thirds is shown by the the staircase
Color is shown by the green and blue tables

Perspective is shown by the fire hydrant
Framing is shown by the hallway
I learned from this assignment all the different types of composition and how to take a photograph that highlights the element. I also learned how to create a blog and how to use it
